This site is a tribute to Arthur S. Griffiths. Devoted Husband of Margaret, much loved Dad of Gareth, Andrew, Helen and the late Stephen, Father in Law of Debbie and Kristina, treasured Grandad of Michael, Hannah, James and Elliot and a special Great-Grandad sadly missed by all his family. 

The late Arthur Sansom Griffiths

The death of Arthur Sansom Griffiths aged 92 years of Bridge Street, Usk occurred at Avenue Road Nursing Home, Abergavenny on 18th July 2024.

The funeral service followed by committal took place on Monday 12th August at The Gwent Crematorium, Croesyceiliog with Karin Powell officiating. Recorded processional was 'Panis Angelicus' by Andrea Bocelli. The crematorium organist Mrs Kathryn Vickery accompanied the hymns '23rd Psalm (The Lords My Shepherd)' and 'How Great Thou Art'. Recessional music was 'Gwahoddiad' by The Morriston Male Voice Choir.

Donations in memory of Arthur are to benefit Dementia U.K and these are being received by Ernest Heal & Sons Funeral Directors, Chippenham Funeral Home, Howells Place, Monmouth, NP25 3ED.
